Good Nursing and Medical Training (GNAMT) offers a state approved Day, Evening and Weekend CNA Program. Students are trained to perform routine tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Good Nursing and Medical Training (GNAMT) offers a state approved Day, Evening and Weekend CNA Program. Students are trained to perform routine tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They help care for physically or mentally ill, injured, disabled, or fragile individuals confined to hospitals, long-term care nursing facilities, nursing homes, assisted living, personal care homes, Rehabilitation, hospice, home care, mental health facilities and other health care settings. CNAs also help patients feel safe and comfortable throughout their hospital stay. As a CNA, your duties includes but not limited to:
Serving meals,
Helping patients to eat, dress, and bathe, and providing skin care.
Taking the patient’s temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure
Assisting patients in getting into and out of bed and walking
Keeping patients’ rooms neat, Making beds
Observing, monitoring and reporting changes to the nursing.
The CNA Training Covers:
Age-specific care across the lifespan
Safe patient care delivery
Infection control principles and practices
Body mechanics and mobility skills
Communication skills
Assisting with activities of daily living
Nutrition and assisting patients with meeting nutritional needs
Common health problems and nurse assistant care
Monitoring Health & Safety
Reporting
A Clinical Experience is included and this allows students to put the skills they learned in calss into practice. In addition to becoming a CNA graduate, the course also provides opportunity for those interesting in nursing as a profession to become more informed of the RN practice and to develop a plan of action for becoming an LPN or RN.
After successful completion of this training program you will
Take the state CNA exam.
When you pass, your name will be on The Georgia Nursing Aide Registry
You will get a certificate of completion from Good Nursing and Medical Training
